A new video for Dan Giberman’s “Days Bright and Blessed” is up on the new Sao Bento Music YouTube site! You can watch the video in High Definition HERE

 Bunny hop to the DG!

So, if you are stumbling on the site today, we’re engaged in a bit of yard work. Our previous site was attacked and rendered completely useless [sigh]. So out of the ashes is a new site, hooray! We are working hard to get it up and running, so for the time being we don’t have a ton of content here but you can listen and preview songs from individual band pages using the nav to the right. In a week or so the site should be reborn with a focus on simplicity and of course, our music. Thanks for your patience!

A great review by Jennie Nichols

“ Experimental, yes. Futuristic, yes. Stereotypical? No. The Very Hush Hush play with modern simplicity and equal inspiration. Falling in love with the piano is once again a treat in Evil Milk.”

A new review for The Very Hush Hush’s Evil Milk!

“ Touching all corners between My Bloody Valentine and shoegaze to glitch pop, Evil Milk is an impressive study in patience and talent.”

Here’s an old Possible Selves Review I just came across.

“ The songs are folky, yet beautifully spacy and serene. For every Mogwai-esque slow jam, there’s a poppy, but nonetheless contemplative counterpart.”

“Occasionally touching, sometimes weird and always intoxicating, Giberman has crafted an album full of subtle grace and power. Thrills Without Gills: A Celebration of the Living Land is an instant contender for Best of 2008 lists.”

“A superbly crafted album, perfectly showcasing Giberman and his toe tappingly upbeat shoegazey folk… one of the nicest surprises of the new year.”
