We've been augmenting and mixing the new coehn burns release for the last couple months... I'm headed to Boulder in Novemeber to finalize some things, do some touch ups, etc. I think we're still targeting april for the release.

Coehn Burns just emerged from the studio after recording the basic tracks for their new album. The new stuff was recorded at Stagg St. Studios in Van Nuys, CA (probably close to some porn houses...) by Erich Gobel. Some pics of the sessions are here. The highlight was definitely recording the stylophone.
